We are standing on the shoulders of giants: farmers and visionaries who are well-rooted in this area of Lebanon, but who have traveled the world in search of wisdom and love of life. A WAY OF LIFE
WATA is a way of life. We don’t separate how we see our life from the way we pick our apples and share their bounties. We made sure to craft ciders that can be part of any facet, mood and occasion of our lives.

OUR COMMUNITY
Community is everything. From the hands that join us in picking the apples at every harvest, to the bars and coffee shops that serve our ciders to the seasoned or curious cider-drinkers – transmitting the knowledge and sharing the fruits of our labor is what this is all about.
Follow our journey
Our orchard didn’t produce enough apples this year, a reality of climate change. But that did not stop us writing this year’s story!
And for this year’s vintage, that story begins in Kfardebian with the Bou Lahdo family, whose love for our terroir, much like us, has been cultivated across generations. A major reason why we chose their apples to be a part of our ciders.

Climate change left our orchard with fewer apples this year, reminding us how fragile the land can be. But it also brought us closer to other farmers who share the same love for the soil.
High in the mountains of Kfardebian, at 1,350 meters above sea level, lies an orchard rooted in family and legacy.
Since 2019, Marc Bou Lahdo has been caring for it with the dedication of an agricultural engineer, and the support of his father Georges, a dentist who left his clinic to return to the land during the pandemic.
This year, their apples will carry forward a new story: becoming part of WATA cider!
Every bottle of WATA begins with crisp and fragrant apples grown in the fertile orchards of Wata El Joz.
These apples are the soul of our cider, carrying the taste of the seasons and the care of the hands that pick them.
And when you take that first sip, you’re tasting the very heart of where we come from.
